Who is Skillion Spaces for?

We have a bold, yet simple ambition:

To offer a beautiful and inspiring place, for the best people in our region, to do their most important work. 

In short: coworking, where you'd rather be.

Skillion Spaces members are entrepreneurs and owners growing their enterprise, remote professionals getting more productive, creatives producing things of beauty and impact, and a community of likeminded people spuring each other on.

What is a membership?

A membership at Skillion Spaces refers to a recurring subscription for one person to make use of the facility, for either a full 24/7 month, or less frequent use. 

If you take Light or Regular Membership, you'll need to nominate which weekdays you'd like to have in your plan (e.g. "Monday and Friday"). 

Full Members have electronic 24/7 access.

Is there a lease document?

There's a simple T&Cs agreement, ensuring that we all use the space fairly. Members can cancel their membership with 30 days notice.

It's probable that we will reach a limit on available memberships fairly soon. When that happens, we'll have a waiting list and will selectively invite new members based on their suitability for the community.

We want this to be the most inspiring, fun, productive place you've ever worked. 

Which desk can I use with my membership?

Members will use the app or website to book their preferred desk in the common area 24-72hr ahead of time, depending on membership tier. Casual visitors can book a desk 12hr ahead of time. 

If you'd like to take a permanent office or dedicated desk, chat with us about some options (NOTE: offices and dedicated desks are now on waiting list - contact us to join the list)

Can I bring a guest?

Guests can join you in the Conference Room when you have a booking in the calendar, or at the bar. Fair use applies, as this guest access is designed mostly for client meetings.

Full Members also have a complimentary Casual Day passes to offer to clients, friends or colleagues every month.

Can I use the Conference Room, Quiet Booths and Podcast Studio?

Members can book the Conference Room for meetings and video calls in a shared calendar, while the Quiet Booths are for use without booking.

The podcast studio will be available for hire (members enjoy a discount). Details are here.

What about events and networking?

We've got some amazing events planned. Many will be free for members (others will be discounted).

We have world-class, well known names lined up, so members will have early access to book tickets. Check out the events page to see what's coming up.

Can I promote my service or product?

Skillion Spaces will attract the best people in our region, and we want this to become the first choice when anyone seeks suppliers, partners, investors and advisors. 

We are are preparing to launch a directory of local specialist services and products that our members will provide. The directory will be promoted to an audience beyond our four walls. 

 

What are my Casual Day Pass options?

Not everyone will need Skillion Spaces every week.

So, we offer Casual Day Passes in packs of three (with a 30 day expiry) or ten (over 60 days).

Casual Day visitors may visit during business hours, and have more limited access to benefits.

 

What about Virtual Office Service?

Many businesses require a physical address in order to hold franchise, make a Google listing, or accept official mail.

Skillion Spaces can provide a physical and PO Box address - contact us for more info.
